Mensa Brands acquires lifestyle smart wearables Brand Pebble

With the acquisition of Noida-based Pebble, Mensa Brands, a Thrasio-styled rollup ecommerce business, has entered the smart wearable industry. According to a press release, the partnership will help Pebble expand its online presence and increase its marketing and branding efforts in order to become a household digital brand.

Pebble is a lifestyle electronics business founded in 2013 by Ajay and Komal Agarwal, a father-daughter combo. It has a statewide offline distribution network that sells audio items, fitness wearables, and charging solutions. In India and around the world, Mensa works together with partner companies to boost growth in digital marketplaces and D2C (direct-to-consumer) channels. It now has nearly 20 different brands.

Mensa Brands has made four acquisitions thus far this year. Gardening business Trustbasket, aromatherapy and personal care D2C firm Florona, and leather goods maker and seller Estalon were among the D2C aggregator.
