Leucine Secures $7 Million in Series A Funding Led by Ecolab

Pharma B2B SaaS platform Leucine, co-founded by Vivek Gera and Mustaq Singh Bijral in 2019, has successfully raised $7 million in a Series A funding round. Ecolab led the investment, with participation from Pravega Ventures, Axilor Ventures, Techstars, and other contributors.

Leucine operates as a transformative force in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, aiding clients in areas such as batch planning, the modernization of archaic processes, and transitioning from paper-based records to digital formats. The company further provides valuable insights through a comprehensive analytics dashboard.

As part of this significant funding milestone, Leucine unveiled the beta launch of Leucine 10x, an AI-powered framework designed to function as a co-pilot within pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

The firm reports that it has successfully implemented its solutions in over 300 pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities across ten countries, including the US, India, Brazil, Mexico, and others. Notably, companies such as Cadila, Dr. Reddy’s, and Cipla are among Leucine’s prominent clients.

Over the past year, Leucine has nearly doubled the number of manufacturing facilities adopting its product. The majority of this expansion comes from the United States and India.

This substantial Series A investment will empower Leucine to enhance its go-to-market strategy, bolster its AI capabilities, and expand its dedicated team, further cementing its position as a vital player in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
