Kale Logistics Secures $30 Million in Series B Funding to Revolutionize Global Logistics

Kale Logistics has secured $30 million in a series B funding round led by the private equity firm Creaegis Advisors LLP.

The company stated that this investment will support its mission to develop and deploy a robust Cargo Community System that will revolutionize global logistics, transcending regional boundaries.

The company’s co-founders expressed their enthusiasm about partnering with Creaegis for their global expansion, capitalizing on their operational value add and SaaS experience. They emphasized that, together with their esteemed group of existing investors, they are well-prepared for the next phase of growth.

This marks the second round of funding, coming two years after the company announced a Series A investment of $5 million from Inflexor Ventures in 2021.

Established in 2009 by Rajesh Panicker, Amar More, and Vineet Malhotra, the company specializes in providing software solutions for the logistics industry. Their flagship product, the Cargo Community Platform, serves as a unified data source, rectifying operational inefficiencies and enabling a paperless exchange of trade-related data, ensuring seamless communication among stakeholders.

Kale’s platform unites all participants in the cargo value chain onto a single platform, effectively eliminating communication errors.

Kale Logistics aims to streamline the complexities inherent in cargo movement at airports and seaports by leveraging its integrated platforms and ERP solutions, benefiting all stakeholders.

Prakash Parthasarathy, managing partner & CEO of Creaegis, highlighted the rapid digital transformation underway in the global logistics industry, emphasizing the need for intelligent automation and end-to-end visibility across all nodes. He praised Kale’s role in leading this disruption through their Cargo Community Platforms and suite of SaaS solutions, digitizing and automating cargo operations in airports and seaports from end to end.

Kale Logistics, with offices in India, the USA, the UAE, Kenya, and the Netherlands, engages with over 100 airports and seaports worldwide across 35+ countries.
