Inito, a medical technology startup, has secured $6 million in Series A funding led by Fireside Ventures. The company, known for its fertility monitor app available exclusively on iOS, plans to utilize the investment to develop an Android app and to bolster research and development for new product lines.
Established in 2015, Inito’s flagship product, the Fertility Monitor, aids women in tracking fertility hormones and offers personalized insights into reproductive health. With a broader vision, the Bengaluru-based firm intends to expand its app’s offerings to include diagnostic tests addressing various health concerns.
The fertility monitor starter kits are currently accessible through Inito’s platform and on Amazon. Earlier, Inito had garnered investments from notable entities like Y Combinator, former Nurx CEO Varsha Rao, as well as support from several physicians and family offices, having been part of Y Combinator’s winter 2019 batch.
This funding round aligns with Fireside Ventures’ momentum, as the early-stage consumer-focused venture capital firm had recently concluded its third fund at $225 million in October 2022.
