Infibeam Avenues acquires 50% stake in Gurgaon-based software startup Vishko22

Infibeam Avenues Ltd., a provider of fintech solutions, announced a strategic investment in a Gurgaon-based software firm, Vishko22 Products & Services Pvt. Ltd. The company intends to provide omnichannel enterprise software products and services that will integrate seamlessly with domestic and international eCommerce markets.

According to Infibeam, Vishko22 will aim to meet the growing need for omnichannel enterprise software solutions from B2B eCommerce operators in India and throughout the world, focusing on providing customised software solutions that allow unifying and synchronising online and offline operations. Omnichannel enterprise software allows businesses to create a smooth purchase experience for their customers and delivers a unified platform that contains all the required tools to manage numerous channels via an eCommerce website, mobile apps, in-store, and social media.

Vishal Mehta, managing director of Infibeam Avenues Ltd., said, “It’s a strategic investment to meet the growing demand for omnichannel software with the existing suite of e-commerce offerings, adding that the company will make more such strategic investments in technology startups over the next 12 months. Many suppliers, retailers, and brands have found it difficult to integrate their online and offline companies. We chose to invest in omnichannel software to solve this unmet demand and leverage the booming omnichannel industry in India and abroad.”

He also stated, “Vishko22 will target eCommerce players because they have scalable models and an unmet need for digital solutions specifically built to support or unite online and offline company formats.”

Vishko22’s core software team includes technological leaders, techies from famous institutions, and Sandeep Sharma, an alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore. Vishko22 was started by two experienced entrepreneurs, Neha Sharma and Shweta Gaur, who were also co-founders of the eCommerce marketplace Yepme.
