IIT Kanpur’s Cyber Security C3iHub introduces its second cohort of startups


C3iHub, the Technology Innovation Hub on Cyber Security and Cyber Physical Systems Program on Innovation Ecosystem Building at IIT Kanpur, has launched the Second Cohort of 14 firms under the Startup Incubation Program.

Principal Scientific Advisor for the Indian Government, Prof. Ajay K. Sood, attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Dr. Ekta Kapoor, Mission Director, NMICPS, DST; Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Project Director, C3iHub, IIT Kanpur; Prof. Sandeep Shukla, Co-Project Director, C3iHub, IIT Kanpur; Dr. Srivari Chandrasekhar, DST Secretary; Dr. Rajesh Pant, National Cyber Security Co-ordinator; Naveen Singh, Director General, NCIIPC;

C3iHub’s objective is to address cybersecurity challenges in cyber-physical systems such as critical infrastructures, automobiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).

C3iHub introduces its second cohort of startups

Principal Scientific Advisor for the Indian government, Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, spoke to the cohort and said, “Skilled cyber-attackers from all around the world are targeting India, which has risen dramatically in recent years.” We need additional security solutions or goods in a timely manner to protect India’s cyberspace because the trend of cyber-attacks is evolving day by day.”

He continued saying, “In order to make India’s startup ecosystem sustainable, PSA’s office is actively working towards giving significant push to India’s startup ecosystem to make them sustainable with more investment and by roping in the industries.”
