ICICIdirect announces the acquisition of investment content community startup Multipie

ICICIdirect announced that it has acquired the firm Multipie. Multipie is a web- and app-based networking platform for the investor community that allows users to share opinions on stocks and other financial assets. According to the press release, the transaction entails the acquisition of the Multipie App, technology, brand, domain name, user base, and other connected items.

Users can export material to their social network handles because of the platform’s simplicity and social integration. Users can connect their portfolio to the platform, which enables monitoring and focused conversation participation, the business stated in a statement. Multipie, according to ICICIdirect, provides capabilities including user tags with Twitter integration, content creation with stock tags, stock portfolio import, and stock discovery ideas.

Members of the platform can also follow one another and share their portfolios with only the people they choose. The stock trading platform anticipates releasing a number of additional features as time goes on. After purchasing a sizeable minority position in Asknbid, a startup in the financial gambling industry, in October 2021, this is ICICIdirect’s second such investment.
