Hyderabad’s ZestIoT Secures $6.5M in Series A Funding Round Led by IvyCap Ventures

ZestIoT, a startup from Hyderabad that specializes in aviation technology, has secured $6.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Loyal VC and IvyCap Ventures. The startup plans to use the funds to develop its technology platform, which aims to enhance the passenger experience and reduce aircraft turnaround time. Additionally, ZestIoT plans to expand its market reach and hire more staff.

ZestIoT, a Hyderabad-based aviation technology startup founded in 2016 by Amit Sukhija, has raised $6.5 million in a Series A funding round led by IvyCap Ventures and Loyal VC. The startup will use the funds to develop its technology platform, GroundRadar, which uses IoT and AI to optimize last-mile operations and improve operational efficiency and safety for airlines, airports, and handlers. ZestIoT’s platform reportedly manages over 600 flights and equipment, and 9,000 personnel daily. The startup also plans to use the funds for expanding market reach and hiring.

According to Amit Sukhija, Founder and CEO of ZestIoT, the aviation and manufacturing industries are increasingly seeking automation to enhance operational efficiency and enable smarter decision-making. The company’s technology platform utilizes sensors, edge computing, and communication technologies to develop innovative use cases for customers. Sukhija also mentioned that ZestIoT is extending its platform to the oil and gas industries and the manufacturing sector.
