Hyderabad Agri Tournament 2023 Kicks Off with a Bang on Day 1

The Hyderabad Agri Tournament 2023, an Agriculture Cricket Tournment by Agri Marg, sponsored by Namishrree Jewellers, media partner Startup Story, and others commenced today with an extravagant opening ceremony at the Fincab Cricket Ground, Kompally. The event witnessed the participation of eight teams from the agri sector, with Day 1 ending on a high note after five thrilling matches. The tournament will be held across three days, and the finals are scheduled for April 9, 2023, followed by a networking dinner.

The Day 1 of the tournament started with the inauguration ceremony, including the pitch, agri cuisine, and stall inaugurations. The event attracted a gathering of people and players from the agri sector, making it an entertaining day. The matches were played in a 10-over per side format, and each game witnessed some fantastic performances.

The first match of the day was between Gulbarga Warriors and Bleed Blue, with Gulbarga Warriors winning by five wickets. Bleed Blue, after scoring 76/9 in 10 overs, was outplayed by Gulbarga Warriors, who chased the total in 7.5 overs, scoring 77/5.

The second match saw Millet Bullets up against Telluris Biotech, with Millet Bullets winning by 34 runs. Millet Bullets set a target of 88/4 in 10 overs, and Telluris Biotech, in response, could only manage 54/8 in the same number of overs.

The third match of the day featured Grow it and Karni Superstars, with Grow it winning by 59 runs. Grow it, batting first, set a target of 120/3 in 10 overs, which Karni Superstars failed to chase down and could only manage 61/6 in their allotted overs.

In the fourth match, Big Basket won against Dvara E-Registry by a massive margin of 88 runs. Big Basket scored 126/6 in 10 overs, and Dvara E-Registry was bundled out for 38/10 in 9.5 overs.

The final match of the day was between Gulbarga Warriors and Karni Superstars, with Gulbarga Warriors winning by 9 wickets. Karni Superstars could only score 74/10 in 10 overs, which Gulbarga Warriors chased down comfortably, scoring 80/1 in just 3.4 overs.

The day concluded with a friendly match between the organizing team members, leaving the audience excited for the Day 2 of the tournament.

Apart from the thrilling matches, the finals event is also expected to be graced with the presence of Telangana’s honorable Minister of Agriculture, Co-operation and Marketing, Sri Singireddy Niranjan Reddy.
