Hybrid workplace platform GoFloaters raises seed funding led by Loyal VC

GoFloaters’ operator, SMBSure Business Solutions Pvt Ltd, has acquired an unknown sum in startup funding from Loyal VC, a Canadian venture capital firm. The Chennai-based company will utilise the additional funding to develop and improve WorqFlexi, a unified hybrid workspace solution.
GoFloaters, a company founded in 2017 by Srivatsan Padmanabhan and Shyam Sundar Nagarajan, provides affordable coworking desks with work cafes, enabling teams to work and collaborate in person from any location. It states that it provides long-term offices, meeting rooms, and more than 2000 on-demand coworking spaces in more than 40 Indian locations.
The workspace and meeting rooms were chosen in collaboration with over 250 coworking providers, such as WeWork, Cowrks, 91Springboard, AWFIS, Indiqube, and OYO.
Loyal VC, a Canadian venture capital fund, has made over 200 investments in around 50 different nations. The fund’s goal is to lessen bias in the investment decision-making process. According to its website, the venture capital firm, which has managing partners Kamal Hassan and Michael Kosic, strictly sources its investments through three channels to guarantee the quality of investments.
