Humors Tech, the innovative healthtech company known for its breath-based health screening device Respyr, has successfully secured a pre-seed funding of Rs 2 crore from Venture Catalysts. This significant investment will support the commercial launch, clinical studies, and global expansion of Respyr, a device poised to revolutionize early disease detection and health monitoring.
Respyr employs a cutting-edge combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and patented biomarker analysis to provide early detection and monitoring of various health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory issues. This proactive approach to healthcare aims to intervene before diseases cause substantial impact, a shift from the traditionally reactive nature of healthcare research.
“Most healthcare research today is reactive; intervening after diseases have already caused substantial impact. Through Respyr, we aim to revolutionise the very premise of healthcare, making it proactive, accessible, and personalised for each individual,” said Ankur Jaiswal, Founder of Humors Tech.
Founded in 2021 by Ankur Jaiswal, Suchita Mulye Kanaldekar, Pushkar Bhagwat, Kushal Vyas, Humors Tech is headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka. The company was established with a vision to integrate AI, deep tech, and IoT with clinical research, resulting in innovative and user-friendly healthcare platforms.
Respyr exemplifies this vision by enabling users to monitor their health with a simple breath into the device. The device analyzes unique biomarker signatures and shares comprehensive health data via a mobile app, offering actionable suggestions for health improvement.
