Hesa, a platform for unified commerce, has purchased the sales intelligence firm Flinkhub for an undisclosed sum. The purchase of Flinkhub is intended to improve Hesa’s app and promote product-led growth. Following the acquisition, Ashish Rajput, Ananth SNC, and Jerrin Joy, the founders of Flinkhub, will join Hesa. Flinkhub offers two products: Papertown, a social networking app for education, and Flinkhub relationship intelligence, a tool that maps a user’s network.
Hesa’s digital model already accounts for more than one-fifth of all online sales in villages (18%), which is greater than in many cities. This needs to be scaled across India’s 6.5 lakh villages, which calls for special tactics that are very different from what works in cities. said, Jerrin Joy.

Hesa, a company founded in 2019 by Vamsi Udayagiri and Hema Nandiraju, enables community collaboration among local brands and enterprises to unify value chains in rural India. It offers these companies a tech-driven platform that enables them to interact with, market to, demonstrate to, and transact with their customer base across the nation’s remote and rural areas.
GullyBuy, a Pune-based digital marketing technology platform, was purchased by Hesa in April. In a pre-Series A funding round led by Venture Catalysts in June, Hesa raised $2.3 million. And this is the second time that Venture Catalyst has invested in Hesa. By the end of 2022, Hesa hopes to service over 60,000 merchants in 30,000 localities. It also intends to make bill payments, account opening, mobile recharging, and bus ticket booking possible in addition to product-based e-commerce.
