Healthy snacks maker Kikibix secures $300K funding from 9 Unicorn Founders, Blume Ventures, and Angelist

Kikibix, a producer of healthy snacks, has secured $300,000 in an early-stage funding round from 9 Unicorn Founders in India, along with Blume Ventures, a venture capital firm, and Angelist, based in the United States.
According to a press release, several startup founders, including Varun Alagh, Lalit Keshre, Dr. Vaibhav Kapoor, Dr. Garima Sawhney of Pristyn Care, and Prashant Pitti of EaseMyTrip.com, have invested in the Gurugram-based startup.
Kikibix is a company that offers healthier snack options, including alternatives to typically unhealthy snacks like cookies, bhujia, and chips. Founded in 2022 by Dr. Ridhi Kaur, a paediatrician, the company has experienced significant growth, with a reported 10-fold increase in monthly revenue over the past six months. The latest funding round is intended to support Kikibix’s expansion plans, which include launching new products, expanding its team, and increasing its distribution channels.
“The fact is that the so-called healthy snacks in the market are actually filled with high starches, flavouring agents, hidden sugars, maida (refined flour), refined oils, chemicals, and empty calories,” said Dr Kaur.

“Post the pandemic, about 78% of the Indian population feels the need to shift to healthy snacking, but 50% feel the existing snacks are not tasty. Our goal is to make genuinely healthy products with clean ingredients, which are also tasty,” she added.
According to Kikibix, their products do not contain refined flour, sugars, palm oil, chemicals, or preservatives.
