GoMechanic and iACE Join Forces to Advance Automotive Skills Training

GoMechanic, a prominent automotive service provider, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the International Automobile Centre of Excellence (iACE), marking a significant stride in elevating automotive skill development in India. iACE, a collaborative effort between the Government of Gujarat and Maruti Suzuki India Limited, stands as the nation’s premier automobile training center, equipped with cutting-edge technical labs and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

This partnership intends to enhance the expertise of more than 5000 service mechanics within GoMechanic’s extensive network spanning 600 workshop partners. These mechanics will undergo phased upskilling programs facilitated by iACE, focusing on the latest automotive technologies, notably Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (EVs), aligning with GoMechanic’s recent foray into the EV sector through GoMechanic EV.

The collaboration is more than just a skill enhancement initiative; it aligns with the broader goal of empowering the automotive workforce in line with the ‘Skill India’ initiative by the Indian government. Its aim is to cultivate a pool of skilled professionals in the Indian automotive sector and create employment opportunities for individuals enrolled at iACE.
