Goldsetu raises $1.1 million in funding round, acquires BuymyJewel

Goldsetu, a software-as-a-service marketplace for jewelry dealers, has secured $1.1 million in additional investment as part of its $2.3 million extended seed round. The round was headed by 2am VC, Broom Ventures, and Cloud Capital, with participation from famous angels such as Harshil Mathur (Razorpay), Shashank Kumar (Razorpay), Varun Alagh (Mamaearth), Akshay Saxena (Avanti), and Pankaj Raina (Zephyr Peacock).

The resources will be used to scale the startup’s B2B procurement service, introduce supply chain finance, invest in automation, and extend the company’s product and tech platform.

Goldsetu acquires buymyjewel

Goldsetu, founded in 2021 by Vikas Verma and Anuj Sachdev, has further announced the purchase of BuymyJewel, a B2B jewelry e-commerce platform. Rajat Gaur, the co-founder of BuymyJewel, has joined Goldsetu.

The company will also introduce the jewelry supply chain’s first formal B2B BNPL product.

“We are proud to support the Goldsetu team as they build Goldsetu to serve Jewellery store owners and modernize the Jewellery market in India,” said Jeff, General Partner, Broom Ventures.
