Funding Alert

GobbleCube Secures $1.9 Million Led by Kae Capital to Strengthen Brand Analytics Platform

Gurugram-based brand analytics platform GobbleCube, founded by former executives of Blinkit, has successfully closed a $1.9 million seed funding round led by Kae Capital, a prominent early-stage venture capital firm. The funding round also saw participation from US-based consumer fund CRV and various angel investors.

The capital injection will be pivotal in bolstering GobbleCube’s product engineering capabilities and refining its go-to-market strategy, with initial targets set on India, Southeast Asia, and the United States.

Manas Gupta, cofounder and CEO of GobbleCube, highlighted the core challenge the platform seeks to address, stating, “Brands have to manage not just one, but multiple platforms. But they are operating with limited amounts of data. So, solving that puzzle with a limited amount of data was a mammoth challenge for them and I think that was the core purpose with which we built out GobbleCube.”

GobbleCube, co-founded by former Blinkit executives Gupta, Srikumar Nair, and Nitesh Jindal, specializes in aiding consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands in revenue management by automating data and decision-making processes across the e-commerce value chain.

Gaurav Chaturvedi, Partner at Kae Capital, emphasized the significance of GobbleCube’s solution in addressing the complexities arising from the increasing shift towards e-commerce by brands. Chaturvedi stated, “As e-commerce continues to gain market share, brands are turning to multiple platforms to reach their consumers. This introduces a growing layer of complexity for them to manage. At Kae, we believe that this is a real pain point, and the team at GobbleCube has the right context and skills across e-commerce, CPG, and technology to solve this problem.”

Kae Capital, known for backing successful startups such as Zetwerk, Porter, Nazara Technologies, and HealthKart, has recently concluded its Winners Fund II after raising Rs 410 crore from esteemed investors including Velo Partners, KKR co-founder and co-executive chairman Henry Kravis, Tata 1MG co-founder and CEO Prashant Tandon, Max Healthcare founder Abhay Soi, and DSP Group founder Hemendra Kothari.

The successful funding round marks a significant milestone for GobbleCube as it continues to carve a niche in the competitive landscape of brand analytics, promising innovative solutions for the evolving needs of CPG brands in the digital age.
