Zyod, a B2B platform for sourcing and manufacturing apparel globally, has raised $3.5 million in its seed funding round, which was led by Lightspeed, with FJ Labs and Panthera Peak Capital also participating. The funds will be used to enhance the company’s technology platform and team, as well as to introduce new features, increase its network of manufacturers and suppliers, and continue to expand its presence in the apparel sourcing and manufacturing sector. Zyod is actively recruiting in product, tech, marketing, and operations. The startup offers exclusive support to global customers looking to establish and grow their fashion businesses and brands. Zyod’s unique selling point is that it can provide a new range of products within 21 days with as low as 50 pieces MOQ.
Zyod claims to have seen a consistent market demand since its inception and has already worked with over 150 clients in 13 different countries.

In July of last year, Lightspeed Venture Partners raised $500 million for its largest fund focused on India and Southeast Asia. The Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm has significantly increased the size of its fourth India fund from its prior corpus of $275 million in 2020. This company has backed startups including Oyo, Udaan, Sharechat, and Byju’s.
