Fourth iteration of Developer Programme and Grant (MGDP) Launched BY MG Motors


As the nation strives to generate 50% of its installed electricity capacity from non-fossil sources by 2030, MG Motor India and its consortium members on Monday launched the fourth edition of their Developer Programme and Grant (MGDP),the MG Developer Program for this year will concentrate on topics such charging infrastructure, fleet management, electric parts, electric batteries, green energy solutions, managing the life cycle of EV batteries, connected car solutions, and battery-as-a-service (BaaS).

The company has collaborated with Jiobp, Exicom, Fortum, CESL, Attero, MapmyIndia, and Bosch as the technology partners for the fourth edition, with Invest India and Startup India serving as the main partners, over the past three years over 830 auto-tech businesses submitted entries for the program’s prior iterations, till now about 180 startups including Koinearth, Electreefi, Voxomos, Redbot Technologies, and Mihup have been mentored by MG Motors India.

MG Motor India’s president and managing director Rajeev Chaba said- “By providing a forum for EV innovators from all around the nation to network and explore creative solutions, MGDP Season 4 seeks to drive good change in the sector. This is a platform that aims to bring the brightest minds in the field together to create innovative ideas that could alter the EV landscape”
