Femtech platform Salad raises $270,000 pre-seed funding round led by Antler India


Salad, a femtech platform has raised around $270,000 (approx Rs.2.2 crore) in a pre-seed funding round led by Antler India.

Arun Chawla, Co-founder of Salad, stated “At Salad, we want to leverage technology to empower women to plug the information gap about their hormones and take the necessary steps to proactively manage their own health and lifestyle.”

“Additionally, women continue to be an underserved segment when it comes to most healthcare solutions, particularly ones hormonal health related. Aruna and Karishma are a fitting team to build for this problem – bringing a nuanced understanding of healthcare solutions, coupled with skills to build products for scale,” said Rajiv Srivatsa, partner at Antler India.

About Salad:

Salad offers a solution to manage hormonal health at the root throughout the month by providing access to personalized and bio-individual plans in line with personal health goals, underlying conditions and menstrual cycle data.It was founded by Arun Chawla and Karishma Rathaur. Salad started in early 2020 when Aruna Chawla realized how little women know about their own bodies through her background in women’s wellness and research spanning 6 long years.
