Farm-to-Face Skincare Brand RAS Raises $1.5 Million in Pre-Series A Round Led by Green Frontier Capital

RAS, a premium skincare and personal care brand that emphasizes a farm-to-face approach, has successfully secured $1.5 million in funding during its pre-Series A round. The investment was led by Green Frontier Capital, a prominent venture capital firm in New York with a focus on climate change and sustainability, and included participation from existing investors.
The funds will be used to develop new products, focus on offline EBOs, and expand globally, according to a press release from RAS.
According to RAS, it is aggressively hiring and expanding its workforce in its offices in Raipur and Mumbai, as well as building various touch points throughout India through omni channels and strengthening its brand presence through partnerships with relevant channels.
RAS, founded by Shubhika Jain, Sangeeta Jain, and Suramya Jain, offers natural ingredients and potent scientific formulations in beauty and skincare products manufactured at the startup’s proprietary vertically-integrated research facility and farms in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
The company claims to have grown 20x in the last two years and to have grown at a rate of 300% year on year since its inception.
