FanCode Secures Multi-Year Deal for Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Competition Rights in India


FanCode has announced that it has acquired exclusive streaming rights for various AFC competitions for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons. This achievement comes through a sub-licensing agreement with FSDL, the media rights holders for AFC competitions in India.

This partnership will offer Indian fans the opportunity to watch Asian football action and witness some of the world’s top football stars, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Karim Benzema, and more. The deal encompasses multiple AFC tournaments, including the AFC Champions League, AFC Cup for the 2023-24 season, AFC U23 Asian Cup, AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup 2024, AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup 2024, AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024, and others.

Prasana Krishnan, co-founder of FanCode, expressed their delight at partnering with the Asian Football Confederation, bringing top-notch football action and renowned players to fans in India. He also emphasized that this partnership will contribute to the growth of the Indian football ecosystem.

FanCode has previously live-streamed events like the FIFA Women’s World Cup and SAFF Cup and is currently offering coverage of various leagues, including the J-League, EFL Championships, Barclays WSL, and Carabao Cup. Additionally, the platform features domestic competitions such as the Hero Super Cup, Goa Professional League, and Kerala Pro League, among others.
