Expertrons Secures Funding and Acqui-hires Foxmula to Expand Career and Tech Upskilling Services

A consortium of investors, including Echjay Family Office, Amar Ujala, and existing backers like Ivycap Ventures, Iceland Venture Studio, Venture Catalysts, and Ah Ventures, participated in the recent funding round for Expertrons, a skill tech startup. The infusion of funds will drive product development, bolster SEO initiatives, and fuel overall expansion efforts, enabling Expertrons to extend its reach globally.

“Our journey began with the realization that numerous talented individuals lacked access to crucial career secrets, which were often exclusive to a privileged few,” said Jatin Solanki, Co-founder of Expertrons.

The startup employs AI-powered recommendations to connect users with pertinent “video bots” for personalized career guidance. By considering factors such as background, college, domain of interest, and company preferences, Expertrons provides tailored video bots and facilitates one-on-one calls with experts to assist aspiring professionals in achieving their career goals.

Vivek Gupta, Co-founder of Expertrons, expressed their aspiration to empower over a billion professionals worldwide throughout their diverse career journeys.

Expertrons also formed a strategic partnership with Shine.com through Hindustan Media Ventures Limited, broadening its potential audience reach. This collaboration aims to share the career experiences of experts on Expertrons with Shine’s vast user base, enhancing career success prospects for a wider audience.

Dr. Apoorva Ranjan Sharma, MD and Founder of Venture Catalysts, lauded Expertrons’ efforts in bridging the evolving job market’s demands and supporting career growth.

“Their dedication to democratizing career insights and mentorship aligns perfectly with our vision. We’re excited to be part of their journey towards empowering professionals worldwide,” said Sanjeev Bahl, AVP – Strategic Investment at Hindustan Times, expressing his confidence in Expertrons

In an additional move, Expertrons announced the Acqui-hiring of Foxmula, an established upskilling company founded by Ayush Bansal. This strategic acquisition positions Expertrons to tap into the growing Tech Upskilling market, expand its network of channel partners, and provide comprehensive support to aspiring professionals.

“With Foxmula’s large target audience and expertise in Tech-based Certification, Expertrons is well-positioned to tap into the massive Tech Upskilling market, penetrating through online as well as offline channels by expanding the current network of channel partners across India and providing even more comprehensive support to aspiring professionals,” commented Vivek Gupta.

Expertrons, founded in 2019 by IIT Bombay alumni Jatin Solanki and Vivek Gupta, utilizes its patented video bot technology to connect users with over 7500 experts from renowned companies. These experts share real-world career insights, offering valuable strategies for securing top jobs, internships, and business school admissions. The startup also collaborates with prestigious institutes to provide upskilling programs and job-oriented courses in partnership with leading companies.
