Empowering Women: Salesforce India Introduces Return to Work Programme Cohort


Salesforce, the global CRM software company, has introduced a new initiative in India to empower women who have taken a career break to return to the workforce. The six-month Return to Work program by Salesforce India offers eligible candidates the chance to work, learn, and receive mentorship as integral members of the Salesforce team. The program’s upcoming cohort, starting in July, will encompass nearly 50 women and offer roles in customer success, sales, and marketing, with opportunities in technology, sales, and customer success across major cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi. Through a combination of classroom and on-the-job training, Salesforce will assist these qualified candidates in smoothly transitioning back into the workforce.

Since its initial pilot in February 2022, the program has already supported over 70 women, with an impressive 75% of participants securing full-time employment. Salesforce India CEO Arundhati Bhattacharya said, “At Salesforce, we are committed to equality. Gender balance and inclusivity are essential for innovation, customer success, and employee satisfaction.

The Return to Work program aims to provide women with a unique opportunity to build successful careers, overcome challenges they may have faced during their career breaks, and ultimately inspire others as role models to follow.
