Emiza Logistics acquires Shippigo to strengthen its technology and shipping capabilities

Online shipping company Shippigo is acquired by supply chain and warehousing firm Emiza for an unknown sum. By acquiring Shippigo, Emiza will be able to further integrate its platform with that company’s technology and improve the whole supply chain operation, from warehousing to last-mile delivery. It will improve Emiza’s technological and logistical capacities even further.

Emiza’s founder and CEO, Ajay Rao, stated, “At Emiza, we have been tirelessly striving towards elevating our solutions via the use of technology. We are ecstatic to incorporate Shippigo’s cutting-edge, technologically sophisticated products into our current workflows. As a result, we will be able to provide our customers with the features and advantages for a smooth fulfilling process from production to consumer.”

Emiza, a company established in 2015 by Ajay Rao, provides storage and fulfilment services to both offline and online clients. More than 150 direct-to-consumer (D2C) and business-to-business (B2B) firms in India work with the startup as a third-party logistics partners.

The shipping system offered by Saurabh Jaitly and Nitish Gupta’s startup, Shippigo, enables e-commerce businesses to link their websites or shopping carts, input shipping information, and then handle shipments to their consumers. It offers a plug-and-play solution that enables companies to start international shipping right away.
