Digital Healthcare Platform Clinikally Raises $2.6M in Funding


Clinikally, a digital healthcare platform connecting consumers with licensed dermatology practitioners, has successfully raised $2.6 million in its recent funding round. This funding round saw the participation of notable investors, including Y Combinator, Tribe Capital, Goodwater Capital, Sequoia Scout Fund, and Rebel Fund.

Founded in 2021 by Arjun Soin, a healthcare researcher and Stanford graduate, Clinikally specializes in offering personalized treatment plans and product recommendations for a wide range of dermatological conditions such as acne, hair loss, eczema, rosacea, and more.

This latest funding round follows Clinikally’s earlier funding of $500,000 and boasts an impressive lineup of backers, including Shutterstock CEO and founder Jon Oringer’s Parento Holdings, ReNew Power founder Sumant Sinha, MapMyGenome founder Anu Acharya, and Neapean Capital founder Gautam Trivedi, among others. Notably, the round also featured investments from industry leaders such as Dropbox co-founder Arash Ferdowsi, Cred’s Kunal Shah, and BloomTech (formerly Lambda School) founder Austen Allred.

Clinikally’s platform offers consumers direct access to qualified physicians and online pharmacies that provide rigorously tested products. This telehealth platform aims to democratize access to expert dermatological and wellness care, particularly in India.

The newly acquired funds will be used to further develop Clinikally’s platform, enhance telehealth technology, and upgrade omnichannel capabilities, including offline clinic collaborations. Additionally, Clinikally aims to expand its reach, enabling same-day doorstep delivery across Tier 1 cities in India and increasing its user base by 2.5 to 3 times. The company also plans to add 250 additional partner clinics to its network.

Clinikally currently offers prescription-based skincare, haircare, immunity, wellness, and nutrition-related products from pharmaceutical and consumer brands. Since its launch 21 months ago, the platform has served 450,000 users across 500 cities, including 40% in Tier 2, 3, and 4 cities.
