Dhiway Partners with ONDC to Create an interoperable distributed ledger network for Digital Commerce Transformation

Web3 startup Dhiway has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India’s government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). The partnership aims to create an interoperable distributed ledger network functioning as a scoring repository. This collaboration paves the way for Dhiway’s technical expertise to synergize with ONDC’s support and guidance in constructing open, secure, and transparent digital ecosystems using CORD, an open-source, layer-one distributed ledger framework.

The Network envisions a decentralized, open, and interoperable infrastructure, fostering trust and reliability within the digital realm. Utilizing CORD, the network will establish a robust foundation for secure and transparent interactions among participants.

“Our engagement with ONDC opens up an opportunity to secure digital transactions at scale in a data-driven economy”, said Satish Mohan, CTO of Dhiway. “Combining our expertise in building Web 3.0 technologies with ONDC’s vision for open and secure digital commerce will create an ecosystem that fosters trust and enables seamless transactions across domains.”

Koshy, MD and CEO of Open Network for Digital Commerce stated, “We are excited to work with Dhiway in our mission to revolutionize digital commerce. Their proven track record in developing secure and transparent digital ecosystems will help us establish trust and reliability in every transaction on the ONDC Network.”

Pradeep K.P., CEO of Dhiway Networks, said, “Dhiway’s technologies focus on discovery, engagement, and transactions with provenance-based data streams. The collaboration with ONDC is a commitment to reshaping digital interactions for population scale using Public Digital Infrastructure.”
