ConveGenius secures $1.8 million in funding for AI-driven edtech platform

ConveGenius, an edtech firm driven by AI technology, has secured a funding of Rs 15 crore ($1.8 million) from Searce Inc. This investment aims to bolster the company’s cloud services and expedite the development of its generative AI capabilities. The primary focus will be on enhancing SwiftChat, ConveGenius’ flagship conversational AI platform.

According to the company, the collaboration with Searce Inc. is poised to catalyze the creation of scalable, cloud-based educational solutions, especially in regions where access to quality education is limited. In response to the funding, ConveGenius stated, “The partnership will accelerate the development of educational tools that can be accessed remotely and cater to diverse learning needs.”

Founded in 2013 by Jairaj Bhattacharya and Shashank Pandey, ConveGenius has been pioneering the integration of AI technology into the field of education. The recent funding round, which also included investments from UBS Optimus, Mt Judi Ventures, and existing backers, underscores the growing interest in leveraging AI for educational innovation.

ConveGenius aims to leverage the funds to strengthen its position in the edtech market and further advance its mission of democratizing access to quality education through technology. As stated by the company, “Our goal is to empower learners worldwide by providing them with personalized and interactive learning experiences.”

The infusion of capital will enable ConveGenius to expand its reach and impact, particularly in underserved communities where traditional educational infrastructure may be lacking.
