Clensta Appoints Ashish Mishra, Former Mamaearth Leader, as Co-founder and Chief Business Officer


Clensta, a leading personal care brand, has welcomed industry expert Ashish Mishra to its executive team. Ashish will take on the role of Co-founder and Chief Business Officer (CBO), joining Puneet Gupta, the brand’s Founder, in propelling the company to new heights.

With nearly two decades of experience in the industry, Ashish has an impressive track record. At Mamaearth (Honasa Consumer Limited), he led several critical business segments, including General Trade, Modern Trade, HORECA, Institutional, International, and Salons. Under his guidance, Mamaearth experienced astonishing growth, achieving a remarkable 2500% increase in revenue. Ashish successfully elevated the company’s revenue from INR 2 Crores per month to over INR 500 Crores annually within just three years, all while overseeing a team of more than 1,500 individuals. His career has also encompassed roles at prestigious organizations such as Reliance, Tata Group, VLCC, and Russian Medicom.

In his new capacity at Clensta, Ashish will spearhead retail and online sales channels, while also playing a pivotal role in expanding the brand’s international, institutional, and alternate distribution channels. His extensive experience in the industry will be invaluable in shaping strategic decisions and contributing to the company’s growth capital raising initiatives.

Since its inception, Clensta has secured funding from notable investors such as the Royal Family of the UAE, EXIM bank, and various other angel platforms. These investments are being reinvested into the business to expand the inventory and customer base.
