CII launches CoE for Innovation and Startups at T-HUB

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) inaugurated its Centre for Excellence for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Startups (CIES) at  T-Hub, offering plug and play workspaces, ideation labs, mentoring and innovation labs.

The state-of-the-art facility, which can accommodate 200 people, was established in collaboration with the Telangana government and Pratiksha Trust. The CIES aims to work with stakeholders in the ecosystem to boost the success of startups, emphasising the development of entrepreneurship and innovation skills.

In addition, the centre plans to collaborate with startups for the creation, incubation, and acceleration of corporate offices and family office engagements in the long-term.

During the launch of the Centre, several memorandums of understanding (MOUs) were signed with Apollo Hospitals, Elico Ltd, Skoda Auto, and Vedanta for Corporate Accelerator Programmes. CII introduced the CIES project in 2020 as a corporate-led resource platform, aiming to promote the growth of thriving startups in India.
