Boon Partners with Niti Aayog’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat for Water Innovation

Boon, the global IoT-enabled water-tech startup, has entered into a strategic partnership with India’s esteemed policy think-tank, ‘Niti Aayog,’ as part of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat ARISE-ANIC program.

This collaboration aims to harness impactful research and innovation within the water sector to pioneer cutting-edge solutions for efficient water resource management, waste reduction, and the mitigation of leakage and theft issues.

The primary objective is to revolutionize India’s water management landscape by leveraging advanced technologies to address critical challenges such as water leakage and unauthorized usage. A study by ASSOCHAM highlights that a significant 40 percent of water supply is lost due to leakage and theft, emphasizing the urgent need for innovative interventions.

In pursuit of this goal, Boon has been collaborating with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to develop real-time water pressure sensing systems for monitoring water supply lines. These advanced systems will play a crucial role in identifying leaks, detecting unauthorized activities, and optimizing planned pressure in water distribution networks. Boon’s dedication and expertise have earned it the privilege of leading efforts to provide innovative solutions to combat the pressing water crisis.
