Fintech SaaS startup Bluecopa raises $2.3 million in a seed funding round

Bluecopa, a fintech SaaS firm, has raised $2.3 million in a seed funding round that was spearheaded by Blume Ventures. The money will be used by Bluecopa to expand its customer base, employ personnel, and enhance the capabilities of its platform.
Participants in the round included individual investors Asad Khan and Jay Singh from Lambdatest, Krish Subramanian and Rajaraman Santhanam from Chargebee, Rohit Chennamaneni from Darwinbox, and T-Fund, Speciale Invest, Bharat Founders Fund, T2D3, and Force Ventures.
Anirvan Chowdhury, VP of the investment team at Blume Ventures said, “We were impressed with Bluecopa’s data infrastructure strategy to address this crucial issue for finance teams. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to solve a problem that every industry is facing with Satya’s expertise in building a data infrastructure product, Neel’s strong credentials as an enterprise sales maestro, and Raghava’s experience in finance.”
According to Bluecopa, it expedites financial procedures and aids CFOs and the finance team in overseeing business operations as a whole. It offers an interface similar to Excel and aids in the real-time processing of millions of transactions.
To understand business drivers, there is a growing reliance on data teams, pricy, sophisticated tools, and cumbersome Excel spreadsheets. Particularly in high transaction volume industries like e-commerce, logistics, financial services, etc., this is a hair-on-fire problem. According to Satya Prakash, co-founder of Bluecopa, resolving these issues can boost sales by 20% and profitability by 30%.
