Better Nutrition Projects ₹100 Cr Revenue in FY26–27, Fuelled by 5X Year-on-Year Growth and Rapid Market Adoption

Better Nutrition, India’s pioneering biofortified food brand, is on track to surpass ₹100 crore in revenue by FY 2026–27 across its group businesses, marking a remarkable 5X year-on-year growth. The milestone comes on the back of growing consumer trust, exponential traction across quick commerce platforms, and national recognition following its appearance on Shark Tank India Season 4 earlier this year.

Since its television debut in February, Better Nutrition has witnessed a 10X surge in monthly revenue—from ₹10 lakh to over ₹1 crore—making it one of the country’s fastest-growing clean-label staples brands. Within six months of its consumer launch, the company has achieved a consolidated monthly run rate of ₹2.5 crore across group businesses and a production volume of 150 tonnes/month—all through a capital-efficient, sustainable operating model.

Founded by Prateek Rastogi and Aishwarya Bhatnagar, Better Nutrition was launched with a mission to make clean, nutrient-rich staples accessible and affordable for the Indian population. The company began with biofortified atta and rice—naturally enhanced with iron, zinc, and protein—and has since expanded into other essential categories such as pulses and cooking oils.

“Our mission has always been to address the nutritional gaps in India, not through fads or supplements, but through the very food that people consume every day,” said Prateek Rastogi, Co-founder. “We’re not trying to be flashy or momentary; we’re building something foundational. When you change what’s on people’s plates in a meaningful way, you don’t just improve health — you influence productivity, learning outcomes, and long-term well-being.”

Co-founder Aishwarya Bhatnagar added, “True impact on public health in India can only happen when better choices are made easily accessible and affordable to the masses. Fortifying daily staples with essential micronutrients allows us to meet people where they are, without asking them to drastically change habits or pay a premium.”

Better Nutrition products are available on major quick commerce and e-commerce platforms including Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, Amazon, Flipkart, and JioMart, as well as through its own D2C platform betternutritionforall.in.

A cornerstone of its growth strategy is the Kisan Ki Dukan initiative—a farmer-led supply chain involving over 20,000 growers. This model ensures traceability, consistent nutrient profiling, and pricing efficiency, allowing the brand to offer nutrient-rich staples at scale while maintaining healthy margins.

Better Nutrition’s innovative approach has attracted investments from national icons such as PV Sindhu and MasterChef Pankaj Bhadouria and garnered praise for addressing one of India’s most pressing challenges—nutritional deficiency—through sustainable and scalable innovation.

As Better Nutrition scales further, it aims to make biofortified staples a default choice in Indian households, ushering in a new era of accessible, everyday health.
