Apple to make small job cuts in corporate retail teams amid industry-wide layoffs

Apple layoffs are happening, but they may only affect a few people, according to reports. At a time when many businesses are implementing mass layoffs, the iPhone manufacturer may make minor job cuts in its corporate retail teams, according to reports.

Apple is reportedly laying off employees from its “development and preservation teams.” These organisations, it continues, are also in charge of building and maintaining all Apple retail stores and numerous other facilities spread out across the globe.

While some media reports claim that Apple has already begun these layoffs, others point out that the announcement has not yet been made. Additionally, it was impossible to determine how many jobs would be lost as a result of Apple’s latest round of layoffs.
It’s interesting to note that the report also mentions that Apple is positioning these job cuts as a streamlining initiative rather than layoffs. Additionally, it is said to have told staff members that all company changes were made to enhance store maintenance throughout the world. According to reports, Apple will also offer support to any affected employees.

  Apple Layoffs

Apple has generally been one of the few tech firms that has avoided mass layoffs. Prior to this, some reports claimed that Apple had only terminated a small number of contractual employees, and even these terminations were infrequent. Several of its competitors, such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and others, have made significant employee layoffs, in contrast to the iPhone manufacturer.
