Apple in Talks with Samsung and LG for Bezel-less, Notch-less iPhone

Apple is reportedly working on a groundbreaking bezel-less, notch-less iPhone and is currently in discussions with display suppliers Samsung and LG for the development of this cutting-edge technology. The new design is expected to offer an edge-to-edge viewing experience, eliminating any visible bezels on the front of future iPhones.

Since the release of the iPhone X in 2017, Apple has been gradually reducing the side bezels and concealing the selfie camera and facial IDs with a notch at the top of the display. However, this latest development could see the elimination of the notch altogether, providing a truly immersive display with no interruptions.

The collaboration with Samsung and LG is focused on creating an OLED display, which has been utilized since the iPhone 12 series. Unlike many Android competitors that use curved displays, Apple intends to stick with flat panels for its upcoming bezel-less iPhone.

The new design will involve positioning the camera and necessary sensors below the display, a similar approach to what Samsung implemented with the Galaxy Z Fold 4. This major revamp in the iPhone’s internals will pave the way for an innovative and seamless viewing experience.

As of now, there is no official launch date for the bezel-less, notch-less iPhone, but according to Leakster Ice Universe, it may take Apple another year to finalize this groundbreaking design. The company is expected to introduce the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro series in September of this year, with the same display sizes for all four models – 6.1 inches for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro, and 6.7 inches for the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

This advancement represents Apple’s commitment to continuously push the boundaries of technology and offer its customers enhanced and innovative experiences through its devices.
