Farm to field! agritech startup Agri Marg to organise Hyderabad Agri Tournament

The Agri Marg team is excited to announce the first edition of the Hyderabad Agri Tournament (HAT), a cricket tournament designed to bring together stakeholders from across the agriculture industry. The tournament is set to take place from April 7th to 9th, 2023, at the Fine Cab Cricket Ground in Kompally, Hyderabad.

As a leader in the field of agriculture innovation, Agri Marg is thrilled to create a space where interested parties can connect and create long-lasting partnerships and working relationships. The HAT seeks to integrate sports culture and spirit into corporate management to release the potential and prospects of agriculture.

India’s identity is closely tied to cricket, and the HAT aims to inspire and attract the younger generation towards agriculture by connecting the general public to the industry through a popular sport. In resurgent India, food and agriculture have become key drivers of economic growth, as seen by the increase in startups, exports, and investments. Agriculture is more of a passion than a career in India, representing sustenance and a way of life for the majority.

The tournament is open to teams comprising members of Agri Business Organizations, Agri Food/Tech Startups, Agri PSU’s, Agri Development Bodies, Agri Traders, or Farmers. Eight teams will compete, each with 13 players using a hard tennis ball. The tournament includes a team cricket jersey, medals, participation certificates, man of the match cup, best batsman of the series, and best bowler of the series.

The tournament will consist of two groups of four teams, and the top four teams will move on to the semifinals, with the winners competing in the final match. The Agri Industry Cricket Tournament promises to be an action-packed three-day event that will bring together various stakeholders in the agricultural sector.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for interested parties, including official sponsor status, branding on marketing collaterals, acknowledgment during the inaugural and concluding ceremony, and the opportunity to showcase products and services. Title Sponsorship is priced at Rs. 1,50,000 + GST, and includes several benefits, including a senior official sharing the inaugural and concluding dais with dignitaries, logo inclusion in trophies and certificates, and a corporate video played during breaks. Gold Sponsorship is priced at Rs. 65,000 + GST, and Silver Sponsorship is priced at Rs. 25,000 + GST. A stall can also be purchased for Rs. 35,000 + GST, which provides networking opportunities and the chance to showcase products and services.
