5C Network raises $4.6 million in series A funding round


5C Network, an online medical diagnostics platform located in Bengaluru, India, received $4.6 million in Series A funding. Existing investors Unitus Ventures and Axilor Ventures as well as angel investors like Ajay Gupta (Emeritus Partner at McKinsey & Co.), Rohit Razdan, and Shiv Tallam participated in the round.

The firm wants to utilize the money to expand and strengthen its installed base of diagnostic institution customers and radiologists, as well as to expand its data science and clinical teams’ talent pool and infrastructure.

5C Network

5C Network, led by CEO Kalyan Sivasailam, is a company constructing digital infrastructure to improve healthcare diagnostics in India. The firm offers diagnostic facilities, radiologists, and patient aggregation and management providers market-like access. Through its Prodigi platform, 5C provides 1,500 radiological reports yearly to 2,000 hospitals and diagnostic facilities in 300 Indian cities.

“We plan to utilize this round of funding to broaden and deepen our installed base of diagnostic establishment clients and radiologists. We will focus on ramping up talent and infrastructure for our data science and clinical teams. With a comprehensive and seamless test-booking to clinical delivery experience, we believe we will change the way diagnostics is experienced by every stakeholder in the healthcare ecosystem,” said Kalyan Sivasailam, CEO of 5C Network.
