Keventer To Extend In Frozen Foods And Tetra Pack Milk Business Nationwide, In The Upcoming 2 – 3 Years

Kolkata based company Keventer to expand in frozen foods and tetra pack milk business and is aiming for a 10 per cent increase in turnover. They are hoping that most of their revenue will come from frozen foods and tetra pack milk businesses in the fiscal year of 2021 – 2022. During the pandemic, the demand for both packed frozen food and tetra milk pack has soared high, and thus Kevneter has decided to establish business in that sector.
Speaking to PTI, Keventer CEO Sunil Kajaria said that their pouched milk and branded banana business is to remain in regional levels only, however for frozen foods and tetra milk packs they are aiming for a nationwide expansion. “Right now, the focus is more on these two businesses, where we think that we can establish across India in the next 2 – 3 years,” Kajaria said.
Keventer had started their frozen food segnet five years ago, with veggies and later added the non – vegetarian section. At present, the frozen food portfolio has increased to about 54 items. Up to last year they were concentrating on the east segment of the country. They have already created their presence in North India, and now are planning to expand in West and South India as well. Right now, Keventers frozen food is available in most of the states in North and East India.
