Bengaluru based startup MoEngage raises $30 million in Series D round of funding


Bengaluru based startup MoEngage recently revealed that it has raised a consolidated sum of $30 million in its Series D round of funding led by Steadview Capital. The round also witnessed participation from existing investors Multiples Alternate Asset Management, Eight Roads Ventures, F-Prime Capital and Matrix Partners.

The startup is likely to utilise the recently infused capital to strengthen its technology and further accelerate growth. The customer engagement platform also plans to utilise the funds for expansion across the subcontinent. The company has raised $100 million so far.

Commenting upon the recent series of funding and investment, the founder and Chief Information Officer of Steadview Capital, Ravi Mehta said, “Delivering a personalised customer experience across channels has never been more relevant than it is today. MoEngage’s unique insights-led approach to customer engagement and campaigns makes it easier for brands to drive results and build better relationships with their customers.”

Founded in 2014 by Raviteja Doodha, MoEngage is a customer engagement platform which enables brands to personalise every consumer interaction. It counts 1000 companies across 35 countries, such as McAfee, Flipkart, Domino’s, Nestle and many more, as its clients. In the last 12 months it has doubled its employees headcount to 450 and has recently opened its offices across 3 locations.
