Doss Games raises Rs 2.5 crore in pre-seed funding.

In a pre-seed funding round led by Titan Capital, Maninder Gulati – Global chief strategy officer, OYO, Varun Alagh – CEO, Mamaearth, Abhinav Sinha – Global COO, OYO and others, Metaverse creation app Doss Games has raised Rs. 2.5 crores.
Doss is a novel mobile metaverse creation app built on the Solana blockchain. Founded in August 2021 by Mukul Sharma and Tanmay Joshi, the creation app helps creators mint their own social tokens, build metaverses, conduct real time virtual events, build & play personalised games and much more with the power of AI assisted creation.
Commenting on the funding round, CEO of Doss Games, Mukul Sharma said “We believe that web 3.0 metaverse is a powerhouse of opportunity for the creator economy. We would like to thank Titan capital and other angel investors including Maninder Gulati who have invested in our vision at such an early stage. The initial money is helping us to achieve the product market fit”
“If the right kind of support and investment is provided this sector has a huge potential to thrive to be a major revenue generator for the Indian economy,” says Titan Capital Partner, Bipin Shah.
Speaking about their future endeavours, the startup said that it will use the funds to strengthen its product, design and blockchain capabilities. For the next few months, it will focus on AI powered creation technology for users to create metaverses on their smartphones. The platform will also invest significantly in the community of developers and 3D voxel artists from design hubs around the world like Japan, Istanbul, Poland, etc. who will build smart assets to integrate in the metaverse ecosystem.
