AI Powered Robotics Startup Haber raises $20 million in Series B round of funding

The domestic AI powered robotics startup Haber announced that it has raised $20 million in its Series B round of funding led by Ascent Capital. The round also saw participation from Elevation Capital, Accel, Beenext, Temasek partner Mukul Chawla and several others.
The company has raised an aggregate amount of $27 million till date with Series A being led by Accel.
Commenting about their recent investment in the domestic AI driven startup, the CEO of Ascent Capita, Raja Kumar stated, “Industrial automation is the next big global opportunity and we are excited to partner with Haber, a leader in this space. Going forward, not just productivity but sustainability and environmental consciousness will play an equally important role in decision making, which puts Haber at a distinct competitive advantage.”
Founded in 2017, Haber is a Pune based AI driven platform which aims to help industries become sustainable by converting data into actionable intelligence. Haber robots automate the manual process of sample collection, analysis, measurement and intervention at the factories. The company allows industries to save raw materials and water by eliminating the slow and ineffective manual processes in a factory.
Expressing his views on the Pune-based startup, the CEO of Haber, Vipin Raghavan said, “With a deep understanding of AI and the functioning of industries, Haber has been able to put together a solution that automates the entire process. Our flagship product, eLIXA, was launched in 2017 which enables our customers to meet their sustainability and profitability goals. Testing and taking corrective actions, which used to take hours, has now been reduced to a few minutes with a significant increase in accuracy.”
