100X.VC-Backed Papa Pawsome raisess $250K in seed round of funding

Papa Pawsome, India’s natural pet care brand, 100X.VC-backed startup has announced that it has raised INR 2 crores ($250k) in its latest seed round of funding

The startup said that the New York-based 93 East Capital, OpenbookVC, and marquee investors such as Peebuddy founder Deep Bajaj, KRS Jamwal, Mandar Joshi, and Naveen Gupta participated in the round as well,

The natural pet care company announced that it would utilize the funds to increase its customer base across India, fund R&D, and add new items to its line-up.

The startup makes 100 per cent natural, lick-safe products where the current market is crowded with the product having heavy chemical components. The Indian Pet market is currently valued at 3700 Cr and projected to reach INR 7500 Cr by 2026.
