L&T to launch L&T EduTech, ventures into online learning
Infrastructure company L&T recently announced the launch of its online learning platform L&T EduTech. The latter will offer three verticals, namely, College Connect (to promote practical and application-based learning), Professional Skilling (to enable professionals to fast-track their careers), and Vocational Skilling (to provide skill certification programs by industry experts).
L&T stated on Friday, “The platform is a new industry-led, application-based, practical oriented hybrid online learning platform to help create industry-ready talent.”
L&T group chairman, A.M. Naik further commented, “We are living in a period of accelerating change, with the need to not only learn new things but also seek newer and better ways of transmitting learning and I am confident that L&T EduTech will fulfill this role by enabling young men and women of the country to meet the challenges of the future.”
The platform will aim to bridge the chasm between the skills possessed by young engineers and industry expectations through well designed educational programs.
