Glance announced today that it has invested in Collective Artists Network, an Indian talent management network and pop culture marketplace.
The partnership is expected to give Glance strategic access to India’s best creators and celebrities, while providing disruptive and enduring revenue-generating opportunities for the country’s entertainment talent. Glance, the mainstream internet company behind the digital content platforms – Glance and Roposo – is already in advanced talks for partnerships with some of these celebrities and creators as a result of this investment. These partnerships are expected to help fuel live content on the Glance lock screen and boost entertainment activities on Roposo.
Glance, the platform that pioneered the discovery of AI-based personalized content on the lock screen of Android smartphones, has more than 150 million active users in India and about 25 million in Southeast Asia.
It also recently launched Glance LIVE, a 24/7 real-time streaming content service on the lock screen. Roposo, on the other hand, is India’s leading entertainment shopping platform, with over 30 million active users. Collective has become India’s leading marketplace for popular culture, as well as one of the largest multifaceted talent management consulting centers and pop culture brands. In India, it curates the largest roster of celebrities and hosts more than 8,500 influencers and creators through its Big Bang Social platform, including top actors and pop culture icons.

With Glance and Roposo’s scale, technology and revenue capabilities, and Collective’s access to some of India’s top talents in the film, OTT, TV, music, sports, digital and regional industries, the two companies are now well positioned to support India’s creative economy.
In July of this year, the two companies jointly launched Glance Collective, a co-creation company that creates consumer brands with various celebrities and designers. This collaboration is an example of how Glance is fostering entrepreneurship in the designer economy by allowing designers to own brands, rather than just endorsing them.
