Inflection Point Ventures Unveils IPV Ideaschool Accelerator Program for Early-Stage Startups

Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) proudly announces the launch of IPV Ideaschool, a cutting-edge accelerator program tailored for early-stage startups. The inaugural batch, IPV Ideaschool batch 1, is set to unfold as a six-week nationwide initiative aimed at propelling businesses from the idea stage to Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

Mr. Mitesh Shah, Co-Founder of Inflection Point Ventures, shared his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “IPV Ideaschool – the highly curated program aims to give an edge to the startups as they will not only secure early-stage funding but also get an opportunity to grow and scale their business rapidly with strategic guidance and IPV’s rich network. By strategically nurturing and empowering innovative ideas, our commitment to building a strong early-stage startup pipeline ensures a foundation of quality and potential, shaping the future of groundbreaking ventures and contributing to India’s economy.”

The program anticipates a staggering 2000 applications, from which an initial shortlist of 100 startups will be selected. Subsequently, 40 of these enterprises will actively participate in the accelerator program, undergoing evaluations across various parameters through multiple rounds. The culmination of the program will feature an on-ground event, where the top 15 startups will showcase their business ideas to a distinguished jury.

The final leg of IPV Ideaschool promises an enticing prospect for the top five startups, offering a substantial Rs 80 lakhs as investment and an exclusive opportunity to join the prestigious IPV portfolio. Entrepreneurs eager to seize this opportunity have until January 20th, 2024, to submit their applications.

Mr. Shah highlighted the comprehensive support the program will provide, stating, “IPV experts will help startups fine-tune their business plans, suggest pivots if needed to make a commercially viable business idea ready to be funded. IPV will also leverage its own investors’ network, ecosystem partners and other VCs to help the startups get access to the required infrastructure and raise additional capital.”

IPV Ideaschool is not just a funding opportunity; it is a holistic experience for startups. The program includes access to bootcamps and masterclasses conducted by experts covering various facets of business. Startups will be nurtured for growth with the backing of IPV, Firstport Capital, and Physis Capital.
