Indian Startup Community Backs PhonePe’s Indus Appstore

In a resounding display of unity and support, over 300 members of the Indian startup community rallied behind PhonePe’s Indus Appstore at its grand launch event in Delhi. The Indus Appstore, a native Android-based mobile app platform tailored specifically for Indian consumers, promises a localized, personalized, and inclusive experience, available in English and 12 Indian languages.

Aloke Bajpai, MD, Group CEO of Ixigo, and Saibal Biswas, SVP & Head of Marketing, PR, and Partnership at MediBuddy, also lauded the app store’s support for launching apps in multiple languages, transparent approval processes, and its commitment to diversity and local needs.
