Electronic Giant Samsung announces Organisational Changes in India


The consumer focused electronic mega-giant Samsung has recently announced major organisational changes among the top management of its venture in India. The organisational restructuring has been done with the primary focus of generating more synergies amongst various businesses.

According to the company officials, this reorganisation move would allow the electronics giant to help various businesses as well as deliver a knowledgeable and noteworthy experience for consumers as the company expands its reach in India while treading on a path of innovation based on technology.

Samsung has allotted the designation of the new Division Leader for consumer electronics to CH Choi whereas the position of Division Leader for Network Business would be occupied by Jinsock Lee.

Additionally, Mohandeep Singh has been appointed as the Head of Sales, Marketing and Operations for the Consumer Electronics business as against Raju Pullan who will be handling the Sales and Retail for the Mobile Business. The Chief Marketing Officer Asim Warsi would be stepping down.

Apart from the above stated appointments, the consumer focused brand has also distinguished three new teams to be deployed including India Customer Experience and Business Strategy, Direct to customer and Enterprise Business.

Dipesh Shah, the Managing Director of the R&D Institute will now also undertake the responsibility of heading the new ICX and Business Strategy team with the aim to curate multiple device experiences for Indian consumers. The new Direct-To-Customer team will be headed by Sumit Walia, who will also lead the Corporate Marketing team. The Enterprise Business team will be headed by Akash Saxenna.
