Edtech firm CollegeDekho aims to hit 4x revenue growth by acquiring Getmyuni and IELTSMaterial for Rs 50 crore

CollegeDekho is an Edtech firm that runs multiple businesses across student enrollment, study abroad, online learning, education lending and is looking for more inorganic growth. In Its Series B funding round the firm has raised $ 35 million and claim to become a leading EdTech firm in the higher education space.

CollegeDekho Group has acquired IELTSMaterial and Getmyuni to become the biggest student enrollment platform in India in a deal valued over INR 50 cr. It aims to hit a 4x revenue run rate growth and maximize its growth this year.

After the acquisition, Getmyuni’s founding team will join CollegeDekho’s senior leadership and it will also continue to operate independently. this will add fundamental value to the partner universities. The collaboration will cater to almost 50 % of all higher education traffic in the country with a vision to drive more than 25 crores annual student traffic.

IELTSMaterial will also allow CollegeDekho to expand its recently announced online learning by adding English Testing Exam preparation capabilities for exams like TOEFL, PTE, OET and IELTS. These will further promote its fast-growing study abroad business.
