D2C startup NATUREPRO raises Rs 50 lakh in seed funding

NATUREPRO, a business specializing in direct-to-commerce, recently revealed that it has secured Rs 50 lakh in a seed round of funding. Milk Mantra’s co-founders Srikumar and Rashima Misra, as well as Stakeboat Capital’s managing director Srinivas Baratam, are among the round’s angel investors.

The company confirmed in a statement that the money will be used to broaden its product offering, improve the quality of the customer service it provides, enter new markets, and increase manufacturing output.

Funding will allow the company to boost its stock-keeping units by 100 percent over the next few months, letting them better respond to customer’s needs in a wide range of skin and hair care categories.

The founder of NATUREPRO, Mohit Mohapatra, has said that the company is committed to incorporating sustainability into all aspects of its operations, including but not limited to the supply chain, production, packaging, and shipping.
