Cred’s Kunal Shah and Sequoia Surge, among others, contributed to the D2C BiteSpeed


BiteSpeed, a SaaS company situated in the Delhi NCR, has secured $1.9 million in venture capital from Sequoia India’s Surge, First Cheque, Whiteboard Capital, and angel investors, including CRED founder Kunal Shah and Teachable founder Ankur Nagpal.

The money will be used to hire across the tech, marketing, and product teams in order to extend the startup’s footprint in the United States, Europe, and Latin America.

BiteSpeed, launched by Vinayak Aggarwal in 2019, enables online D2C businesses to engage with clients and sell their products using chat as a key communication channel on messaging apps like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

Bitespeed

BiteSpeed’s conversational commerce platform on Shopify helps e-commerce enterprises improve their marketing approach. BiteSpeed is utilized by 1500+ Shopify companies in 50+ countries, including Dot&Key, Azani, and Traya.

The company sells to small and medium e-commerce businesses all over the world using a freemium SaaS business model, relying on self-service product-led growth.
