The content to commerce platform Good Glamm Group is likely to foray into the live commerce segment through the launch of its live-commerce app which is probable to hit the market by mid-January 2022. Further, the unicorn also plans to expand into the men’s grooming, hair care as well as the mom-baby segment in the next year.
The startup plans to collaborate with various high flying e-commerce platforms like Myntra, Amazon and Flipkart for its live-commerce business. This announcement comes just a few months after the content platform acquired prominent brands in the space including the most recent acquisition of entertainment platform MissMalini Entertainment group.
Further, the company officials in a press release stated that the fundraising aspect necessary to support the live-commerce business would not be a cause of concern for the startup since they have sufficient backing. The Mumbai based platform is leaning towards a public listing in Diwali 2023.

Talking about the recent expansion plans of the startup, the CEO of the Good Glamm Group, Darpan Sanghvi said, “We are building multiple brands and they have to be nurtured. We build one brand and second brands take time to build, we are BPC domain experts, these are built through acquisition. If I try to build a brand it may take time. We have the expertise, audience, we have a value engine and then we scale these brands. You will see us doing something on female hygiene, mom and baby, hair care, men grooming, skin care. We want to ensure that over the next three years we have brands in each segment that are the top two brands in each of them.”
